Book of the Month Club came to us after a full brand refresh, looking to build a photo library that matched their new tone and energy. Our role was focused entirely on photography and production with a focus on capturing the joy, style, and quiet excitement of monthly book arrivals.

Photo Direction
The project centered on finding small, human moments. We needed to show the instant a box arrives at your door, the subtle joy of reading, and the way people physically engage with a good book. A smirk at a clever line. A focused stare. A quiet laugh. The brief called for warmth, energy, and subtle storytelling in every frame.

Copy Space
Photos built with intentional negative space, designed for headlines, ad overlays, and flexible use across digital placements.

Merchandise
Clean product shots featuring branded items like totes and accessories, styled to feel cohesive with the core brand.

Product Focused
Simple, elevated compositions that highlight the physical books—on tables, in stacks, or styled with minimal props.

Reading
Candid lifestyle images capturing the joy, focus, and subtle expressions that come with getting lost in a book.

Site Usage
Photography in action, integrated across various sections of the BOTM website to bring the new brand energy to life.
